Experience nature in the cultural region of Höxter

To preserve the unique beauty of Europe’s natural heritage and to give them the same people, this is a major goal of the project “Exquisite nature.”

Conservation was formerly often to protect the sensitive habitats with their sensitive animal and plant life also in front of visitors. Finally, the areas have their last refuge of nature in an ever more densely populated cultural landscape. But only those who can take a picture of the natural beauties in his own front door itself, will also be ready to stand up for their reception.

Why are specifically protected areas and European Habitats Directive areas selected in the project and developed with sound judgment and expertise for nature lovers. New trails and GPS Adventure trails leading through the territories and simultaneously relieve sensitive areas. Water access and observation towers provide new insights. Nature experience stations and information boards provide connections and specially trained natural and cultural land leaders leave with interested parties on a field trip.

Educate rather than prohibit, take instead of exclusion, it is our motto to protect the “Elect nature” in the cultural region of Höxter.
